Trustee Conference

 

 

The Trustees Conference returns from 13 - 15 September 2022, and is a three day virtual event aimed at hospice trustees and chairs of member hospices and subscribers.

Hospice UK’s Trustee Conference took place online from 19 - 21 September 2023. 

With a unique and varied programme designed specifically for trustees, chairs and CEOs, we hope attendees took away experiences, knowledge and ideas which will help spark creative and strategic thinking.

We know that hospices are facing some quite extraordinary challenges:   

> The cost of living crisis continues to place hospice finances under extreme pressure  

> It is becoming increasingly hard to recruit and retain our workforce.  

> An ageing population is increasing pressure on our teams.  

As hospice trustees, chairs and CEOs, developing your leadership, financial skills and governance knowledge are crucial to guiding your hospice through these difficulties.

Programme

The conference plays a key part in our trustee network programme. The programme aims to address a range of topics related to good governance:

- How to recruit a more diverse board of trustees  

- How to leverage the digital revolution with skills and technology.

The event has ended.

Price: £140 +VAT (This is a group rate for up to 10 people per ticket)

By attending with your colleagues, the online conference format will allow you all to go to different sessions.
