More information
Compassionate Communities is a local initiative which aims to facilitate support for the dying and bereaved, people living with long term health conditions and people who are socially isolated from within the community itself.
We support 'Dying Matters' every year and are hoping to bring people together to discuss 'what is a good death & why it matters'. Our friendly team will be on hand to listen, talk and help/support those who find this situation tricky or uncomfortable to talk about. At 2pm we will be holding a 'Bereavement Point' at St Andrews Church, where locally bereaved people come together to share their stories of their loved ones and support each other through their grieving process.
Please come along and support us, if we come over to you with a leaflet, please don't run off or cross the road, but join us for a coffee and leave with a smile.
